We are ordinary people sharing the extraordinary love of Jesus Christ.
We are a group of flawed, broken human beings who work really hard to love each other, in thought, word, and deed. While staunchly ingrained in the Presbyterian Church (USA), our community is built upon diversity of thought and belief. At FPC, we put people first and believe that starting with love is always the right answer.
Meet our Pastor:
Rev. Sarah Dianne Jones
Sarah Dianne joined the ministry of First Presbyterian in June of 2026. She is a child of Alabama, but her favorite place has always been Western North Carolina. Before attending Union Presbyterian Seminary, she lived in Charlotte, NC, Arlington, VA, and Washington, DC.
Sarah Dianne believes that God calls all people to the work of sharing Christ’s love and is passionate about journeying with others on their walk with Christ.
When she’s not hanging out with the good folks of FPC, you can find Sarah Dianne in her craft room quilting, sewing, knitting, or cross stitching while listening to an audiobook.
